This blog is about child education and luna, a little girl who was born on Mayday 2006. Books, articles, stories, observation and experiences provide inspiration for any articles in this blog. Some articles have been published in Facebook and republished here with a few revision here and there.
Raising luna is one big project that takes a lot of energy. It is not because we are parents whose responsibility to take care our child, but as a child, luna is entitled to our attention. We try our best to apply the ideas in this blog although it is not always easy to implement them. The most two difficult things are implementing the ideas consistently in any weather and predicting the effects of our actions to luna.
Luna is a typical kid. Like other kids she plays a lot, watches cartoon, and goes to public school. She is not genius or gifted. Her skills come from practices and conditioning. Some of her attitudes are the result of internalization. She also has, indeed, weaknesses. Despite these, luna has grown and been a good girl, more than we expected.
Education is a long investment with a far away finish line. To luna and reina, be happy, be kind, and be strong! (G. Nugroho)
